LPS Sector -D commemorated World Heritage Day on 18th April, to honour the world's culture, apprise the learners of the heritage sites and contribute towards the preservation of our countries heritage in our own little way. This special day offered an opportunity for the students to raise awareness about the diversity of cultural heritage and efforts that are required to protect and conserve it as well as to draw their attention towards its vulnerability. As a part of the celebration, a collage-making activity was organised for the students of classes VI to VIII. Students participated with enthusiasm and zeal. The various beautiful collages portrayed the talent of our students.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar rightly said – “Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence”.
Dr. Ambedkar was a man of many virtues. He was a jurist, economist, politician, and a social reformist. Popularly known as Babasaheb. He was India’s first ever Independent Law Minister and Principal Architect of the Indian Constitution. To pay tribute to his benefactions, the school celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti with full zeal. On 15th April 2024, a special assembly was conducted to commemorate his teachings and works. Students of junior wing presented a skit memorising Ambedkar’s efforts to eradicate social evils like untouchability and caste restrictions and also came forward to vocalize his life chronicle and his contribution to the upliftment of lower caste people.
To explore the influence of role models on students' aspirations, the Library department of Lucknow Public School, Sector D branch, organized a thought-provoking activity titled 'ABOUT THE LEGENDS,' for students of classes IX and XI. Having positive role models can profoundly impact students' beliefs about their capabilities and potential. Such legendary figures serve as beacons of motivation, guidance, and inspiration, instilling a palpable sense of possibility and igniting within students the drive to pursue their passions with unwavering dedication, thereby striving for excellence in their academic and personal endeavors.
On April 1, 2024, our school joyfully welcomed the new academic session with a special assembly that set a positive tone for the year ahead. The event was a delightful blend of music, dance, and inspirational words, aimed at igniting enthusiasm among students and staff alike. The assembly commenced with a melodious group song performed by children from various classes, followed by a captivating welcome dance that showcased the talents and spirit of our students. The vibrant performances were a testament to the hard work and creativity of both the students and their teachers. Our esteemed Principal then took the stage to deliver an inspirational speech. His words resonated deeply with everyone present, motivating us to strive for excellence and reach new heights of success in this session. His message instilled a renewed sense of purpose and determination in all attendees. The atmosphere was charged with positivity and eagerness, as everyone seemed excited to embark on this new chapter of success. The special assembly not only celebrated the beginning of a new session but also reinforced our commitment to foster an environment of growth, learning, and achievement.
We look forward to a fruitful and successful year ahead, filled with numerous opportunities for our students to shine and excel.
